“The Home of the Pasty”

The Yooper was made famous in the Upper Peninsula when miners came over from Cornwall and Finland and the two merged to bring you the “Yooper” made famous because of the addition of “rutabago”

In Michigan some customers love gravy and others eat their pasty with ketchup……its all a matter of personal taste.

The main difference with our pasty and a up north pasty is our pastys are made with “real butter” so they give you a flaky crust. The meat is not ground beef but real Angus steak which means its much more moist inside and you really dont need gravy because it has so much flavor!
