ABOUT US

Chef Gerard and his wife Cheryl began their business in 2011, they chose the name “Grampas” as a acronym for “The Great American Pasty and Pie Co” . Retired Chef Gerard has taught his grandchildren to cook and everything was fondly called “Grampas”.

With their English and South African background, they began this journey with the English pie but because Michiganders are steeped in the tradition of the Pasty, they moved from Pie to Pasty. This has been such a success and what began with one farmers market has now developed to 12 farmers markets per week.

Their goal is to bring you a excellent product at a reasonable price and as fresh as today.using the avenue of “local farmers markets” to bring the product direct to their customers. Shipping is available on request.
